The Orangeburg Lioness Club meeting for the month of December was called to order by the Lioness President Frankie Sapp. Lioness Sapp welcomed the many guests, and turned the meeting over to Lioness Ann Sherman who introduced the guests for the evening. The guests for the evening were the Orangeburg Community Choir with Director, Garnet Trimble and accompanist, Veida Stitt.

The choir entertained the audience with many wonderful new and traditional carols. The group closed their presentation with the group and the audience singing, Silent Night. Other guests for the evening were spouses are friends of club members.

The choir will be singing with the Lexington Christmas Chorus, on Dec. 13, and just recently presented a beautiful cantata, The Gift Goes On to a very large audience.

After the choir presentation, the choir were guests of the Lioness Club for a very delicious Christmas dinner. Many choir members and guests joined the group in playing a Christmas game.
