Anthony Allen, 18, of St Margaret Close, Ludlow, was bullied for a year by a gang who stole five of his bicycles, punched him in the face, humiliated him in front of friends, called him names and threw bricks and bottles.

South Shropshire Coroner Anthony Sibcy yesterday recorded a verdict that Anthony killed himself by hanging on the day that his £2,000 bicycle was stolen.

Mr Sibcy said: "It is clear from the evidence that Anthony Allen was a peace-loving young man who regularly turned the other cheek, particularly when confronted by other Ludlow teenagers.
